The name of the song I chose is "Go!" by "The Chemical Brothers"

Process

Analyzing part:

First, I used a bunch of softwares like VLC media player and Audacity to analyze the song and its different layers. I needed to make the speed slower in order to separate the layers into instruments and each instruments with its proper notation and rythm. Then I started to work on the system and how the layers react with each other to create the song. Finally I understood the notations and made its representation like below.

We can divide the layers of the song into 5 layers:

-The beats are represented in the shape of a thick circle to represent its structure. (Kind of a bass)

- The cymball is visualized as an incomplete circle (dots) to perceive the how the sound of the cymball reacts to the space in terms of frequency.

- The electric guitare is represented with notes connected to each other so its the real sound ( continious)

- The human voice is visualized as a spiral form to perceive its continuity through space and the change of shapes is due to the frequency

- Finally, there’s a sound effect overlapping with the electric guitare connecting the particles.
